Proven Energy provides renewable energy solutions to the Tourism and Leisure industry, having worked within this sector for a number of years.
Proven Energy turbine help to maximize a company's green energy credentials while generating renewable energy. Depending on local legislation, they can also generate revenue from excess electricity production.
Abernethy Trust is a Christian charity that runs four outdoor education centers in Scotland. The Ardeonaig center is situated on the south side of Loch Tay and has residential accommodation for 54 people and day facilities for up to 80. The aim of the project was to reduce costs, cut CO2 emissions, and promote renewable energy.
Wind power offered the most efficient option. Proven Energy has installed two Proven 6 wind turbines which produce up to 24000 kWh of electricity annually, dramatically reducing electricity costs. The center received a grant from SCHRI (Scottish Community and Householder Renewables Initiative) for the two wind turbines. The grant also funded an educational package that promotes energy efficiency and demonstrates the use of renewable energy.

Our full product range has been deployed successfully across the tourism and leisure sector for a number of years. High energy users will benefit most from installation of the Proven 6 or Proven 15 wind turbines.
The Proven 6 is recommended for small to medium sized spaces while the Proven 15, the largest wind turbine in the range, is recommended for high energy users. A Proven Energy advisor can advise you on the best model to install at your site. The turbines can all lead to reduction or elimination of energy costs.
Proven Energy systems are versatile and can be adapted to suit your needs, whether connected to the grid, charging a battery or powering a direct heating system.
"They are not noisy. The sound they make - and you have to be reasonably close to them to hear it - is as comforting as a cat purring on your lap and knowing that the wind is paying the electricity bill."
"I would just like to say how satisfied I am with the installation of my wind turbine."
Please contact marketing@provenenergy.com if you would like to add your testimony to this site.
“Wind gusts of up to 128mph were recorded in the vicinity of the turbine over this weekend – your technology has not missed a beat throughout.”
