South Drumboy Farm

South Drumboy Farm, located near Proven Energy in Stewarton, Scotland, benefits from power supplied by a Proven 6. The turbine is located on a high wind site and has produced approximately 10,000kW of electricity in the past year, powering the farm, farmhouse and hot water supply.

The proprietor of the farm now enjoys revenue gained from the sale of excess electricity to the national grid. The generous financial return from the turbine coupled with an initial 50% installation grant ensures that this investment is providing a sound return for the proprietor.
