Proven Energy Ltd is the UK’s leading manufacturer of Small Wind Turbines. The company has been active in this industry on a global scale over the past 15 years. Today we are experiencing many new companies entering the industry, a strong growth of the market and a huge interest in our products.
We have already established significant growth, mainly within the UK (over 50% Year On Year over the past years). Our strategic plan for the next 5 years aims at an even stronger growth, also including a significant expansion in our export markets. Proven Energy is firmly based in Stewarton, Scotland. We have a highly motivated and innovative team of people working on the development, marketing, manufacturing and servicing of our products. Currently we employ over 50 people, technicians, engineers, commercial talents and administrative support staff. Our conditions of employment are good; a market norm base salary, starting at 30 holidays per year and a pension and sick allowance scheme starting after 1 year of service. The main drive for our people however is to develop their own position and capabilities in line with the development of the company.
We constantly challenge our people to further their skills and offer extensive support in training and education in this. The company is located near Stewarton, in very pleasant Ayrshire countryside, connections with public transport are good and two airports are within 25 miles distance. A job at Proven offers plenty of housing opportunities in the countryside of Ayrshire but also many of our people commute from Glasgow; a cosmopolitan city close the Highlands.
